Zesty Salad Dressing

Today Matt went to Pal camp. It's a 2 week accelerated learning summer camp. 3 day science, 3 days social studies, and 3 day in art. Today was day 2 of science. Matt came home all excited about his "salad dressing recipe". He asked if we could have it for dinner. I said sure and didn't really give it another thought until I was helping him make it. It seemed a bit strange, but not bad. Vinegar, sugar, lemon juice and....pepper. As we were taste testing it Mike asked him where he got the recipe and Matt said " Well our teacher gave us a bunch of ingredients and we had to work with them until we came up with what we thought was a good dressing recipe. It's GREAT Huh?" Well, I added some oil and stirred it up and thankfully my family LOVES the taste of vinegar. Well, except Lucas who spit it out and yelled "YUCK! THAT'S GROSS" ! Matt was almost in tears and I told him that Lucas just didn't like it because vinegar is his punishment for biting. That seemed to work and we all enjoyed Matt's "Zesty Salad Dressing"!!!
