During the "winter months" there is one free Zoo day a month. The weather this year is INSANELY nice so Mary and I decided to take the kiddo's (that weren't in school) and head to the zoo! I haven't been to the zoo in years so I hadn't seen the new exhibits and honestly I was BLOWN AWAY! The polar bear/bear exhibit is beautiful and we have SEALS and SEA LIONS at our zoo now! I had no idea but it was so exciting! I felt like a little kid and I couldn't believe it! The kids were so good and so happy that we were so sad when we had to leave! Thanks Mary for the great Idea!!

I love Thanksgiving. I love yummy food.....and I love my family.....I don't think I'll say which I love more:) Just kidding. I love seeing everyone and working together to put on a great spread! This year I even found a great Matt safe pumpkin pie recipe....only to leave it home! Thankfully I have an awesome husband and a smart phone:) We were able to pull up the recipe on my Pinterest and while he made a crust I made the filling! It was an insane 20 minutes but Matt felt loved and happy. PHEW. Food based holidays can be tough when you have allergies like he does but I was able to make everything Matt safe and I took it all down with us! And my mom made one of her 2 turkeys without butter or the stuffing that he can't have. After dinner we even got to Skype with Stephen! I sure missed them but all in all it was a wonderful day and I'm now happily tired and full!

I love doing the reptile unit in preschool. The kids don't yet know to be scared of snakes....and the mom's are hilarious! I love it! I also love to watch my little kids just take control and show their snakes! This is one thing I'm going to miss when I'm done with preschool!

Matt's been working on his science project and OH how it stinks! He decided to grow bean plants (from seed) and water them with milk, water and sprite. It was fun to see how the plants grew...or didn't grow and to see the funky things that milk did to the seeds! But man oh man the milk made for a stinky mess! UGH! I told him that if he wants to do it again.....it HAD to be done during the summer so the cups could be outside! hahaha!
