This year we went while the oldest 3 were in school and while they were kinda sad, it was nice to only have to watch 2. AND while we were buying tickets for the kids to bounce on "only 2" bounce houses, some lady gave me $10 worth of tickets! We totally scored!
Then it was off to get us some knockwurst sandwiches, chips and yummy chocolate chip cookies! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Mmmmmm.
After we rode the shuttle back to our car (another "newfangled" part of Swiss Days which makes it TOTALLY better btw) and then we took Lucas to see "yours house when you were a kid?". Still feels like home in a lot of ways. In fact every once in a while I dream that we buy the house back and i get to raise my kids there. Of course then the dream changes and I'm just squatting in the house and am constantly scared that the cops are going to catch me. Hmmm. Wonder what that's all about. Oh well. I can dream right? lol
