Happy Birthday My Sweet Heart!

This weekend we celebrated Mike's 34th Birthday! I love my husband. He is such a hard worker. He would do anything for our family and I love him for it!

For his Birthday what he really wanted was to go to the Sam Payne concert in Sandy, so on Friday night we took the boys to the concert. It was great because we got to sit on the grass (which means we didnt have to fight to keep the kids in their seats) and it was just plain RELAXING!!!

Then on Saturday, Mike's actual Birthday, (and after the soccer games, farmers market, house and yard work!) We went to dinner with Kami and Travis to celebrate Mike's b-day and Travis' 40th!!! Happy birthday guys!!!

Good Bye Ray

I'm very sad to say that a wonderful man has died. Ray Yerkes was one of those people that could light up a room with his smile and his laugh. He was always so sweet and loving to me. He treated me like a daughter and was a Father figure when I needed one. Sometimes life is tough and I just hope that Ray knows how loved he was. Oh how I will miss him!

Here's his obituary:

Raymond David Yerkes 1955 ~ 2009 Age 53, left this world on September 8, 2009. Ray came into this world on December 28, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, to Lester Allen and Anna T. Yerkes. He married Susan Barton on November 12, 1983. They were later sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Ray was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather (PaGa), Brother and Uncle. We will always remember his unique laugh and engaging smile. He leaves behind his eternal sweetheart and best friend Susan, their son Joshua Ray Yerkes, daughter-in-law Kimberly and grandchildren Mitchell and Bennett. We love you and will miss youPaGa. Labor Day

We had a great day Monday. After getting a bunch of chores done and some of my preschool stuff ready we went swimming up at Jenn's Mom and Dad's. It was just what we needed. Being able to just relax and play with friends was just what the Doctor ordered. After swimming we went to dinner at Wingers. It was good food, terrible service, and good friends, so all in all it was great! Thanks Jenn and Matt!Isaac is my little Gentleman. He had to run ahead and get the door for me!

Nicholas was so funny! He scratched Mike's arm and MIke said "ouch" is a calm voice and Nick lost it! He was heart broken! And then every time Mike looked at him he began to sob all over again!!

The NICU Grad's Summer Party!

Last night we had the greatest time at the McKay Dee "NICU Grad's summer party. This year they held it at the North Shore Aquatic Center and it was AWESOME! They provided dinner and prizes and of course the entrance. It was made even better by the fact that Mary and Mike were there. Kyle and Nick were both in the NICU at McKay in 2008, so forever we'll get to play at these reunions together! The Chamberlaine (from our ward) and the Woodburry's (Preschool friends) were also there!

Nick had a blast. The others did too, but since this was about Nick I was so happy to see him LOVING it. He had a grin plastered on his face the entire time!

I was a slacker though and forgot my camera! Mary had hers though so As soon as I get pic's from here I'll post them!
