Spring Break!

I LOVE that we get a whole week off of school for Spring Break.  I just wish that Mike could take it off too.       We had a week full of fun!  Emily and David and I took the kids and rode Legacy.  We did a 15 mile ride and I was super impressed with the kids.  Nick even wanted to ride (of course) so I took his bike and the trailer.  He would ride until he was tired and then I'd put his bike in the back of the trailer and strap it in.  It was a little slow but SUPER fun!

Then later that day we took the kids and joined the Bear scouts and went Ice skating!  I haven't been ice skating in 6 years!  It was so fun!  The kids did great and i had so much fun!

THEN (And I don't have pic's) we went to Layton Surf and Swim.  It was SUCH a long day but oh so fun!

This week Ty and Matt also decided that they wanted to ride their bikes to Mike's work and eat lunch with him and then ride home.  I was a little stressed but they had fun and were safe!

Towards the end of the week Mary was heading up to stay in Logan....we couldn'tstay over but decided to go up and play.  We went to the Willow Park Zoo and then went to get Aggie Ice cream!

Then after the Easter party at Mom's (That will be another post) we went to the RSL game!  It was so great! Ovesons and Mom and Don came too!

Spring Time Fun!

I love spring.  I love getting outside and enjoying the sunshine!  It's a time for kite flying, bike riding and yard work:)

I love flying kites.  I am terrible at it but I always enjoy doing it with the kids!  Today was fun but since it was just ME helping the 3 kids it was a little tough.  UNTIL Christiansen's  came by and John helped out:) I love great neighbors!

One of the coolest things this spring was starting to ride with Mary.  I know that she probably isn't overly thrilled but I LOVE it.  I love the time with her. I love that she goes out and rides hard and fast (even though she doesn't think she does) and I love that together we can do anything!  Even when Mary cross chains her bike and falls OFF THE SIDE OF THE TRAIL!  Thank goodness she wasn't hurt!

I got to take Nick and the Preschoolers to the grocery store on a field trip!

We went and watched Danny in his first crit race.

Matt played a lot of Futsol

And we started to rebuild out garden boxes.....UGH....but it will be so nice when its done!  After we worked all day we had a fire with the kids.  I hope to get the yard to a point where I enjoy being in it:)

A Little Green!

I LOVE St. Patrick's Day.  I don't know why other than I love green food!  This year we even had a Leprechaun visit out house!  Lucas was insistent that  one had to visit our house because they visit Andrews house....SO thankfully one decided to make a stop.  They must have known that I couldn't have a huge mess since it was a Sunday because they only made a little mess:) and of course they left treats for the kids!

Out First RSL Game Of The Season!

 If you believe....Then you stand up on your feet! And stand we did!  It was our first game of the season at Rio Tinto Stadium and it was SUCH a great game!  My boys are in heaven when we are there and honestly....so am I!  It was even better because our cousins were there with us.  It was mid March so I was a little worried about the weather but it was BEAUTIFUL and couldn't have been a better night!

My Ninja Turtle

My sweet Nick found our Ninja Turtle costume.  He decided he wanted to watch Ninja Turtles and then he decided that he needed to wear it EVERYWHERE.  School, the store, while riding his bike, under his clothes at church....EVERYWHERE:) and I LOVE it. He also made his VERY OWN mask!  Then he taped it to his head HAHAHAH!   He is so cute and it cracks me up to watch people react to him.  He will grow up way to fast and I'm loving these moments!
