The Weber County Fair (cousin adventure #11)

We had the greatest day yesterday at the Weber County Fair! The County Fair has such a different feel than the State Fair. It's smaller and cozier. It was BLAZING HOT but we still had fun. There was a great petting zoo area that was AWESOME! There were water buffalo, yak's, watusi's, Texas Long horns, all types of milk cows, ducks, geese, chickens, pigs, and more types of sheep and goats than I ever knew existed. We even got to MILK A COW!!! That was probably everyone's favorite part! It was also a lot of fun looking at the exhibits. We saw quite a few by people we knew, including Ty's friend Joey! Yesterday was also the "costume parade" for the kids and their animals. There was a little pony that was in a full whooly mamoth costume! As we walked around looking at all of the animals, we adults were all touched by the kids snuggling with their animals. One little boy was in sleeping with his pig! We also saw a little girl snuggling with a cow, and when I took a picture the owner of the cow started to laugh and said "Yeah, and I don't even know who that girl is, but she sure loves my cow!" It was the sweetest thing ever! After the fair we stopped at Cafe Rio for a yummy dinner. Tyler fell asleep while he waited for his food. You know it's been a long day when TYLER falls asleep!!!

Mike even got to sit on the ladies lap!!

EWE!!!

Tyler had fun scratching the cow behind the ear...especially when it started licking him!
Nick LOVED the piggies!

Look! I'm by the goats! I HATE goats!
Nick wasn't too crazy about the animals at first!
Look at those horns!!!

Ty does better with goats than I do!

We even got to groom a cow!

I think Nick looks happier than he was!

Bubble Gum Blowing Contest!!Mike Won!Not her cow, but she loved it!Tired boys!

Well there's a full moon in the western sky,
And there's magic in the air.
Ain't nothin' I know of, can make you fall in love,
Like a night at the county fair.
Ain't nothin' I know of, can make you fall in love,
Like a night at the county fair.
