23We had a GREAT 4th again this year! Riverdale has a great kids parade, parade, kids games at the park, booths and contests and then GREAT fire works! The parade is even better now that I'm not in charge! The kids games are my job now and they are so much less stressful! Mike and I just go set up at 6:30 or so and then run the games for an hour and then we're off the hook for the rest of the day! It's work, but fun work.
Then we came home and took naps and then went to Mary and Mike's for a GREAT BBQ!
Then they came here along with the Cantwell's and Paul and Jonathan for Fireworks. It was so much fun. The boys love the fire part. They REALLY liked when Mike threw the ground flowers in the air! The best part is sitting on my front lawn and watching the big fireworks at the park. Nick went to bed and slept through it all!
