This last week we decided to Tie Dye T-Shirts for the 4th and Make Ice Cream in a Bag (thanks Jamie!). It was so much fun tie dying shirts. I love waiting to see how they will turn out. and even when you think you know they are never what you think they will be! I just wish that I could find a way to keep the shirts looking like they do when you first untie them. Then everyone wouldn't keep asking me why my boys are in pink and purple!
And Ice Cream in a Bag is AWESOME! As long as you don't split the inner bag. Then it's REALLY salty. Tyler and Isaac both kept saying it was kinda yucky. They were trying to be nice and not make me feel bad. I said "No it isn't! It's yummy!" and then I tasted theirs. After gagging and spitting it out, I believed them! But the others were delicious.
Mike was able to be there for the tie dying part, and then he left. Then Mike O. came home and was there for the Ice Cream part! Both of the Daddy's were able to participate in cousin adventure day!
