Hiking Waterfall Canyon

I LOVE hiking up waterfall canyon.  We decided to take a quick hike up with the kids and the Frandsens this afternoon.....and while it was HOT it was still a great hike!  The kids learned what all of the native plants were, Mike caught snakes, and Emily's shoes fell apart....literally!  They had to tie her shoe laces around them to hold the soles on so she could make it down!  NUTS!  It was such a great afternoon!!

Cousin Adventure #2 - Mmmm Sweets Candy Factory!

 Oh this was one of the SWEETEST cousin adventures yet!  This week we decided to go down to the Sweets Candy Factory.  We couldn't take phones or camera's into the factory but we still got some great pictures before and after:) My favorite pictures were of the hair nets!  LOL we all looked so cute!  The best part of the tour was the FREE SAMPLES!  Matt was at PAL camp so he missed out but I still took some candy home to him!

Little Red

There is no better way to start June than with an AMAZING bike ride!  I LOVE the Little Red ride.  It's such a party on wheels!  There are over 3500 riders!  Wow.  This year Emily and I signed up.  Then Kami was able to get in on the lottery.  THEN Emily and I talked Amanda into riding in it since I could get my cousin Marin's spot (she decided to get married instead of ride....:))  THEN I found out that a friend from Midway was selling her spot and kinda sorta forced Mary into riding with us:) And THAT made the ride perfect for me! Riding with my wonderful friends AND my amazing sister? PERFECT!

The day was actually beautiful.  The weather was perfect and there isn't a prettier place than Cache Valley!  The starting line is such a party!  We took pictures and hung out until it was time to go.  I even ran into Carol before we had to leave!

Then It was RIDE TIME!!!  Oh I loved it!

We had the cutest support team!  They met us at the first rest stop and the lunch stop.  They are the best! I was so excited to pull into the lunch stop and find MORE friends!  Sheryl Knight and Lynn Davis (who were riding the 100) were still there!

Cousin Adventure #1 Making Our Shirts & FLUBBER!

It's cousin adventure time again - Hooray!!  To kick off our adventures this year, first we had to make our awesome shirts!  This year we tried a new thing - we colored with crayons on sandpaper, and then ironed it onto the shirts.   The kids had a great time making their designs, and they turned out pretty good!  Some of them were a little light, but it's all good...  Oh, and Sinda and Dean get to join us this year!  Yay!

 After shirts, we made flubber with the kids.  Of course they loved it, and are still playing with it days later!

Finish off the adventure with a little ice cream, and you have 10 happy kiddos & 3 happy mamas!
