Soccer Fun

One of my favorite things about spring is that sports start again! This year we have 3 boys playing soccer and 4 playing baseball. because of the rain we haven't had much baseball yet, BUT soccer has come and already gone! It seems like it went by so quickly. All 3 boys are great soccer players and more importantly they LOVE the game! Ty also has had fun reffing games. Mike has been a wonderful coach for Isaac's team, in spite of parents, and everyone had a great season! Lucas and Nick even had fun :) I just love my boys!

End Of The Year Preschool Party

The weather made our little preschool water party/BBQ a little difficult this year (shocking I know). BUT Ariana came through and we had an awesome party! We went to her Aunt's and played on their bounce house, played games, and did a craft. Then we went back to Ariana's and had lunch! I'm really sad to see this year come to an end. So many kids going to Kindergarten or moving! I'm going to miss them and their wonderful mom's!

Math and Science Olympiad!

Today was Weber School District's Math and Science Olympiad. Both Tyler and Matt were going and I was so excited to go watch them. Tyler went for Tile Trials and Matt went for Krypto. They were both so nervous! Ty went first. His partner was Mason and they ROCKED IT! They tied for 1st place! The funny thing is that on the last one they were almost out of time so so Ty guessed! Thank goodness he's a good guesser! BLUE RIBBON for Ty!Then it was time for Matt! He was so excited and SO nervous. He was excited that Jess was one of his 2 partner's. I think that helped his nerves a little. Well, the Riverdale team ROCKED IT! As the scores were being announced Matt and Jess started bouncing. The more scores they read the more they bounced. They won handily. BLUE RIBBON for Matt!WAHOO! It's great to have such smart kids :) Nick and Lucas had to take turns with the blue medals too!!! Congrats Kiddo's!

HOLY COW! MATT'S 10!!!!!

I honestly can't believe that my sweet little Matt is no longer little. He's 10!!!! What the heck? Where did that time go? I just adore him and I am so thankful that the Lord sent him to me. Every day with him is a blessing. Every morning he makes my day. ANYWAY, this year his B-day time has been a little bit tricky. With 3 kids playing soccer, Preschool Graduation, the school Carnival, PTA convention and baseball, finding time for a party has been tricky and still hasn't been planned :( BUT thankfully his birthday was a Sunday. That meant that we could just relax and celebrate Matt. We started the day with yummy pancakes, turkey bacon and presents! Matt got the second Red Pyramid book, a lot of clothes, some BYU under armour and some sun glasses that clip onto his glasses. He's so cute :) Then after church we made calazone's and then had the Malan's over for peach pie! Happy Birthday my sweet MATT!

Preschool Graduation 2011

Well, as hard as it was for me, we made it through Preschool Graduation. The kids were great, Lucas lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and everything went off without a hitch! Well, it did sprinkle a little bit and I did get emotional BUT that's still without a hitch in my book :) It's just SO hard for me to realize that Lucas will be in school next year! AHHHHHHH! Where in the world has the time gone? Lucas is very ready for Kindergarten, but man I'm going to miss him. Thanks so all the mom's that have made this year WONDERFUL!!

Officer and Cheerleader Induction Dinner 2011

Well, we've entered a new world. The world of Jr. High. Tonight we went with Tyler to the induction dinner at the Jr. High for all of next year's Officers and cheerleaders. It was fun to just watch him and remember being that age.....or maybe not so fun :) He's such a great kid and I can't wait for all of the fun things that await him! All of the other officers seem like good kids too. The funny thing is that there was only one who I didn't either know or know their parents! Which is funny since they come form 3 different elementary school's!
