Well, Today's my Dad's Birthday. He's been gone 8 years now and in a lot of ways it feels like it was yesterday.
There are a lot of things that weren't so great, but that's where the Atonement comes in. I am just thankful that I can leave it all up to the Lord and just love my Dad. I'm thankful for forgiveness and the choices I have made to just forgive and move on. My heart is much happier that way.
There are also a lot of good things that came from Dad, and I embrace and cherish those things. I wouldn't be me without him!
