Today was Ogden's first ever, highly publicized, stress causing 'Witch Stock". They asked Mike to please come and do a wand booth.......so of course we did. It had the potential to be a lot of fun, and now that it's all said and done it was. HOWEVER today has been the rainiest day in FOREVER! It poured off and on ALL FLIPPIN DAY! Wands were flying everywhere, coats were soaked through, and of course Nick was jumping in the full to overflowing gutters! After a while we were all taking turns huddling in the business door ways!
There were however a lot of crazy people to watch! AND best of all my wonderful friend Shauna, who lives in Utah county, came to visit! She had presented at a conference at Weber and kindly came to hang out in the rain with us!
At about 7:15 I brought the kids home, bathed, warmed up, and then went back to help Mike finish up while Tyler and Matt babysat. It took a while because of a few performances on the stage by our booth (the Outlaws were pretty cool!). When we got home it was wonderful to walk in and see everyone asleep and happy. I'll take a dirty house and happy kids any day!
