D.A.R.E.

Today we got to go to Tyler's D.A.R.E Graduation. It stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education it is also the great decision making model "Define, Assess, Respond, Evaluate". Tyler had a great time going through the program and I enjoyed the graduation. This year EVERY child in the 6th grade graduated. That doesn't always happen, but this year it did. I think it helps that we have such great Police Officers in Riverdale. Grandma Staten was up here on Friday and so she got to come with us too. Kyle and Nick both fell asleep on me and then Lucas fell asleep on Grandma. It made it quieter, but they missed out on the police dog demonstration which they would have LOVED! They woke up in time to eat cake and have Capri suns......of course :) The cakes were so cute! They had pictures of all of the kids and the D.A.R.E officers at their dodge ball game.

Tyler is such a great kid and I can't believe that he's nearing the end of 6th grade!!!!! It makes me a little weepy :)
